Premis Hugo

Del 15 al 19 de desembre té lloc els diversos actes d’entrega per les diferents categories dels Premis Hugo, guardons atorgats a obres de ciència-ficció a novell mundial. Les persones guanyadores han estat:

• Premi Hugo a la millor novel·la curta (entre 17500 i 40000 paraules): The Empress of Salt amb Fortune de Nghi Vo. 

• Premi Hugo al millor relat: Two Truths and a lie de Sarah Pinsker.

• Premi Hugo al millor relat curt (menys de 7500 paraules): Metal like Bood in the Dark de T. Kingfisher.

• Premi Hugo al millor novel·la: Network Effect de Martha Wells.  

  Premi Hugo al millor assaig: Beowulf: A New Translation de Maria Sahvana Headley.
  

  Premi Hugo a la millor saga: The Murderbot Diaries de Martha Wells. 

• Premi Hugo al millor editor professional (format llarg): Diana M. Pho.

• Premi Hugo al millor editor professional (format curt: Ellen Datlow.

• Premi Hugo al millor artista professiona: Rovina Cai.

• Premi Hugo a la millor història gràfica: Parable of the Sower: A Graphic Novel adaptation, guió de Damian Duffy i dibuix de John Jennings.

• Premi Hugo al millor fanzine: Nerds of a feather, flock together editors Adri Joy, Joe Sherny, The G. i Vance Lotrla. 

• Premi Hugo al millor fanzine semiprofessional: Fiyah agazine of Black Speculative Fiction editor Troy L. Wiggins.
  

• Premi Hugo a la millor representació dramàtica (format llarg): La vieja guardia escrita per Greg Rucka i dirigida per Gina Prince-Bythewood.

• Premi Hugo a la millor representació dramàtica (format curt): The Good Place: "Whenever you're Ready" escrita i dirigida per Michael Schur. 

• Premi Hugo al millor artista amateur: Sara Felix.

• Premi Hugo al millor escriptor amateur: Elsa Sjunneson.
